A Bold, Layered Revision of a Classic Washington Home

NLD brought forth a dramatic style shift in this 1948 baroque-lite house, with its sizable and awkward layouts. We significantly modernized the aesthetic and layered elegant whimsy and comfort in its spacious dining room and living room while working with the original plaster molding and historical details. We also enhanced complimentary spaces including the vestibule and powder room for a completely unique but seamless experience. By juxtaposing bold choices in wallpaper and shapes with organic materials, soft varied colors, and very curated styling, we introduced character and interest to a very livable, warm home.
